I always thought she is singing “all the flowers that you planted lover”:smack: So there’s some ignorance fought. I do notice all the rest of lyrics are sung from a woman’s point of view.

In the original Dave Clark Five version of Glad All Over, the lyric is:
Other girls may try to take me away
Fairly straightforward - I’m a guy, I might be tempted by other girls, but I’ll stay.
But Suzi’s version is oddly shifted, changing both sides of the equation:
Other boys may try to take you away
In this case, the singer is a girl whose SO is the one tempted instead. Is she singing that her boyfriend potentially bi, or that her girlfriend potentially bi? Or is Suzi a guy (“other boys” - like I am, also a boy)?
