I thought US relations with Cuba had improved slightly since Raul Castro took over? It’s just a matter of time and he’ll be gone. It seems pointless to inflame relations now. ---

I agree that, even if this scheme had worked, the revelation that it took place wouldn’t make us friends with those that came into power since they weren’t let in on the plan. They would never trust us after that. ---
