Spring sunshine and warmth Bring out the mask-less morons, Brushing right by me. Small elevators In my apartment building Are now health hazards. Most stores are closed now. My bodega’s still open. I’m deeply grateful. I feel so lucky. I’m coronavirus-free As far as I know. ---

So many of us Are resourceful and caring. But some of us suck. Hand sanitizer, Toilet paper, and yeast Are missing from shelves. Stay home to save lives. We’re doing it well, New York! Flattening the curve. ---
