My mom and her friend, when young and bored in a small rural town, tipped cow(s) successfully. They were _quite_ steamed upon realising that they had been tipped. This practice is not recommended for that reason, although I never even considered the fact that this can break a cows leg. ---

If cow tipping is still a popular teenage sport, I refuse to believe that there exists no photographic or video evidence of either the cow being tipped or a drunk frat-boy lying squished underneath a cow. ---

When I attended college in Vermont (lots of cows there), whenever the topic of cow-tipping was brought up among the Vermont-native students, they’d roll their eyes and laugh at whoever brought it up. According to them, it’s something you tell city folk about to see if they’ll actually go and try it. ---

Whoops, sorry. I didn’t mean to ruin the illusion. What I meant was, they rolled their eyes and laughed because cow-tipping was so much fun. Anyone who thinks otherwise should go tip a cow as soon as possible. 😉 ---

I tried sneaking up on cattle (beef cattle, there might be a difference in disposition from dairy cattle) on several occasions in both Utah county and on the Navajo reservation. It was after dark, around midnight. I tried both sober and intoxicated. I tried intoxicated on different substances. Alone and with confederates. Summer, spring and autumn. Every time, the cattle heard my approach & ran. ---
