# Crank/Jason Statham's Accent

I just saw Crank this weekend. Manic pacing, extreme camera work, violence (some of it inventive), lots of action, and Amy Smart, who I didn’t find attractive until she and Jason Statham had a sex scene. It’s her facial expressions that sold me.
Anyway, I loved the movie. And I’m wondering what sort of regional British accent Jason Statham has. Anybody?

Her facial expressions in that scene sort of sold me on Jason Statham.
I know it’s just pretending, but still.

Statham is from Sydenham, a south-eastern suburb of London (SE26). I have no idea how he sounds in interviews, but in Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels he had what to me sounded like a broad east London or [estuary English](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estuary_English) accent.
