Few things lower than a pepperoni pizza roll. You get 20 of them for a buck at the Dollar Tree. Cholesterol and carbs in one neat little package. I chuck them down my throat like Farva eating M&M’s. ---

Cheez Whiz light. Melted in the microwave on tortilla chips and smothered in tequila salsa or slathered on light rye toast. I’ll eat a jar in a few days if it’s in the house. Also, once in a blue moon, what I call bachelor sandwiches. White bread, that light fluffy stuff that never goes bad. Onto to that we place two slices of bologna, two slices of Kraft singles, Mustard, mayo, and ripple potato chips. Crush slightly, and consume with a can of Coke as it’s the only thing that will scavenge all the goo off your teeth! ---

We park our cars in the same garage! 🙂 When it comes to burritos, chili cheese dogs, and the like, I once worked in a convenience store where I had to clean out the cooler after we closed at night. I always made sure I scavenged the “Best before date” goods once they’d been tossed in the trash. ---

Circus Peanuts are _good candy_, no matter what gourmets and snobs and health food fadders have to say about the issue. I like the taste of them (which is rather banana-ish, somewhat marshmallow-y, but mostly just the taste of Circus Peanuts) and really enjoy their unique texture. ---

It’s not a holiday at our house without Cheez Whiz and celery… Also… Jalapeno Chex Mix= road trip food Bold Chex Mix = Wine tasting food Also occasionally just have to have a 7-11 hot dog, nacho cheese covered with stale bun- it’s only slightly beaten by burned to almost ashes home grilled hot dog. ---

Wait…kim chee at a Chinese buffett? WTF! I seriously get a stomachache when I mix Asian foods, Chinese food with Japanese or Japanese and Korean. I joke that it’s because both the Chinese and Koreans hate the Japanese because of the occupations. I’m Okinawa/Japanese and have had older Chinese, Korean and Filipinos tell me that we could never have friends in the past. ---

The Chinese buffet here in town seems to take “Chinese” as a suggestion rather than a commandment, seeing as they also have a sushi bar, fried chicken fingers, hamburgers, a Mongolian BBQ station, and New York strip cooked to your preference at dinner time. A few additions of my own; - Burritos of ground beef with foil packet taco seasoning and cheddar cheese. 2 or 3 of those makes a filling dinner on post-work nights when I don’t feel like doing any serious cooking. - Grilled Nutella sandwiches. Prepared exactly like a grilled cheese, but with Nutella instead of cheese. Creamy peanut butter is an optional add-on if you want to make a complete mess out of your cast-iron. - Del Taco chicken soft tacos, with chipotle sauce instead of white sauce. - Jose Ole frozen steak & cheese chimichangas. They’re marginally better than the Tina’s or El Monterey ones that come in multi-packs. - Babybel cheese. - Totino’s triple pepperoni pizza (also woefully impossible to find these days due to the dreaded supply chain). ---

Then one day they were like “nope, those are gross now.” The stock in the freezer was eventually donated to a nephew. I haven’t shopped for them since, but they were actually pretty good, at least for a $1 frozen pizza.
