When I was a kid I liked coffee with vanilla ice cream in it. When I got older I tried coffee with vanilla ice cream and scotch. That was good too.

I am curious as to why nobody has mentioned the old fashioned percolator. I had my first cup of coffee on a family camping trip, it was made in a percolator. If you like strong coffee, that the way to go. My wife and I use the “perc” on all camping trips and it’s my favorite coffee.
I get the most interesting looks and comments when people see me in the break room brewing a fresh pot at 4:30 pm (most people here leave between 5 and 6 pm). At my previous job, for the last several months I was the only coffee drinker left. We had a coffee maker that brewed into a thermal carafe. I’d make a pot in the morning and take the carafe back to my desk. When I finished it, I knew it was time for lunch. When I got back from lunch, I’d brew another pot, and when I finished that it was time to go home.
Seems to me that if you’re still twitching, you either aren’t drinking enough to build up your body’s indifference to caffeine, or you haven’t been doing it long enough <grin>.
