# Creating a Hybrid Image That Looks Different Up Close & From a Distance

I’m trying to create a hybrid image like those featured on [this site](http://cvcl.mit.edu/hybrid_gallery/gallery.html), but the online instructions I’ve found don’t provide enough information about how to prepare the source images for the effect to work well. I’d like to create a hybrid of these two images so the [coffee creamer](http://spunkatronic.com/Cafe-Creme-Can.png) is visible from a distance and the [rat poison](http://spunkatronic.com/Rat-Poison-Can.png) appears close up.
