creative marketing agency interview dress code?

I’ve hired for creative positions, and jacket-and-tie makes the right impression. To show you’re creative, the actual combo will probably not be navy suit, red tie, white shirt. A dark or black shirt, interesting tie, blazer in an unexpected color or material (suede, e.g.) would all make a good impression on me.

Definitely a jacket and tie though, regardless of what the dress code of current employees is.

I would think you could go with a suit, but more on the stylish and trendy side. I work in fiance/consulting/accounting so people tend to wear more conservative Brooks Brothers style suits and power ties. But maybe for you, something like this?
