If my card were to expire in August of 2007, does that mean the first of the month or the end?

It has always meant the end of the month for any credit card that I’ve had.

As one of the **sinkids** just discovered, you have until the end of the printed month. So your card will stop working as of September 1st. Your bank should send you a new card sometime in July. If you don’t get it, call them up.

End of the month, but not necessarily right up till midnight the last day. It may be effectively void at whatever time the bank(s) involved close out their day. This happened to me at about 10 p.m. with a debit card.
