Three people who averted a tragedy yesterday deserve to be pointed out: As a fair proportion of the board now knows, OpalCat, who maintains the independent but related Teeming Millions Home Page, is bipolar, supposedly controlled by her medications, and yesterday was struck by severe depression and irrationality. The gory details are elsewhere on the board, and I refuse to link to them. I only bring the situation up to ensure everybody knows what a fine job of crisis intervention three people did: First, **Canthearya** posted an alert to **TubaDiva** (Jenny) in About This Message Board, when Opal’s posts made clear what was happening to her.
