Vacuum cleaner commercial, concept is ā€œperfect match for youā€. Miniature people where the bag should be on an upright vacuum, obnoxious people, but when you find hte perfect match the mini person is a version of you. Very creepy, only saw it once, couldnā€™t find any links. Not sure of the brand, I was too busy staring at the humunculi. ---

Wow, the woodland critters writhing and screaming their warnings is really disturbing contrasted with the fairy-tale like narration. Even Andersen didnā€™t go that dark. The first one of this compilation of car-crash PSAs ( [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmMNcOWhjWM](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmMNcOWhjWM)) is fairly creepy - after an accident, a number of spirit forms/souls leave the body of their victims, except for the one wearing a seatbelt. In his case, the soul appears to be struggling to leave. Easily the most terrifying PSA Iā€™ve ever seen. ---

The ones above are creepy, but this is disturbingly creepy. I was going to open a thread like this a couple of weeks ago, but could not find a link to the commercial itself. It looks like someone has since [posted](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usYpXqrBLLk) it. An apparently estranged father shows up at her daughters doorstep and takes her for a rideā€¦to her favourite place. It seems as though she didnā€™t know she had a favourite place. No. You people do not KNOW. (And I wish I could find a link.) A Swedish commercial for stereo equipment. A tubby bearded dude is playing with his hamster, crooning to it, and feeding it a biscuit. He then gets up and cranks his stereo to what is apparently death metal (the TV was on mute at the bar), and the hamster is suddenly demonically possessed and begins physically destroying the tubby bearded dude - who suddenly wakes up from his nightmare. Iā€™ve seen creepy Michelin. Iā€™ve seen creepy Swiss Chalet. They pale in trembling, abject comparison to Swedish Death Metal Cujo Hamster. I must find a link. I hope I do, because you all must understand. ---

I know people who get all teary-eyed watching that commercial. That you donā€™t know why he was gone for so long (was he in prison?) and he is trying to reconnect with his daughter taking her to the only place he knew she liked many years ago is supposed to be touching or something. I dunno, Iā€™m totally ā€œmehā€ about that commercial myself. Given the fact that she was waiting for him with her coat on at least implies it was a scheduled visit and he didnā€™t just ā€œshow up on her doorstepā€, though.
