Can I please be forgiven for nominating a band / album or two? The heavy metal band **King Diamond** are famous for their concept albums so it’s kinda difficult to choose just one song. **Them** (1988) is just so creepy every time I hear it chills go down my spine. Some fanciful and playful songs hand in hand with evil riffs and almost classical notes telling the secrets of Amon, what they do to poor Mother and Missy and King going insane. **The Puppet Master** (2003) is a more straightforward horror story with absolutely spine tingling moments - and some real scares. Beautiful music and lyrics echo a claustrophobic horror environment with a shocking twist ending. ---
