I kept getting texts calling me Sally (not at all my name) and saying the dude missed me. I kept saying wrong number. Dude kept texting for days and I was like whatever. But then my daughter (then 10 I believe) told me SHE was getting texts from some guy calling her Sally and ā€œacting like Iā€™m his girlfriend or somethingā€. He wasnā€™t saying anything at all sexual or anything but still. Finally at some point he said that it wasnā€™t really Tom (the name he had said) and that he was sorry and would leave me alone, and he did. But WTF? Until he texted my daughter I thought it was just some random loser, but I have NO IDEA who could have had both our numbers. She had just gotten her phone and was on my momā€™s plan, not even mine. The only people who had both our numbers, to my knowledge, were a few very close family members and there is a 0% chance of them doing something like that. I have all kinds of weird ass people in my sordid past but not one of them had my daughterā€™s brand new phone number. ---

I am willing to wage that damn near every woman on an internet message board, this one included, gets at least one creepy message any time she even mentions enjoying sex. ---

I used to get a lot of random IMā€™s on AOL. Most were silly, but one guy made threats. I would save the best ones on a [Livejournal account](http://random-female.livejournal.com/). ---

On deviantart, Someone randomly told me that they wanted to sniff my pantiesā€¦ With my old phone, about two years after I brought it, I kept getting multiple people ringing up, telling me that I stole someoneā€™s phone. ---

I guess I should have saved all of the creepy PMs and such Iā€™ve gotten over the years. Maybe Iā€™ll start now, but I get less now, since I participate in those kinds of forums much less.
