Scope got better with their Outlast kind - my breath feels minty for at least an hour or so after using it. And the green kind tastes good - I have the Scope Outlast flavored toothpaste too. ---

I bought some on the recommendation of my dental hygenist but wound up ditching it due to the aforementioned staining and the weird taste. Personally, it made me feel like I’d just spent an hour licking envelopes. Ick. ---

I’ve used it for the past few years. It doesn’t burn like Listerine, that stuff is toxic. Also I’ve had no problems whatsoever with the Crest rinse affecting my sense of taste or any staining at all. ---

Heh. That’s pretty good. I’ve been here a decade, with a substantial portion of my posts being in the Pit, and now I apparently don’t know How It All Works. Essentially, **Kimstu** has it right (Thanks, **K**!). There was a time when I would endlessly bicker, defending my motivations, actions, and every carefully chosen phrase in my posts. Those days are over. If someone comes at me like **Shot From Guns** did in an otherwise calm thread, I’m much more likely to call an asshole an asshole, [_plonk_](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plonk_%28Usenet%29) them, and move on. No discussion is warranted or deserved. And the other dipshits around here that get the treatment? The self-appointed “Pit Cop”. “I shall instruct you on the use of the internet!” :rolleyes: I’ll save you the time, **BigT** : I’m not interested in your interpretation of the thread… Perhaps your tummy is upset and you feel like taking it out on someone. Perhaps **Shot From Guns** is one of your buddies on the SDMB, and by God, nobody gets to speak to her that way. I couldn’t possibly care less. Your opinion of my conduct is immaterial.
