Pretty much like last year’s Champion’s Trophy, in other words, albeit credit must be given to Pakistan for their performance that day (one of the very few days of cricket I have actually been at the ground for - terrific atmosphere generated by the Pakistan supporters).

Having said that, you’re more likely to win tournaments playing that way than the ‘old’ England style.

Well, quite. I’d rather England were actually in these games to have a blow up, rather than what we’ve routinely been served up in international tournaments otherwise.
