“Natick, MA Two men pleaded not guilty today in Framingham District Court after Natick Police said they started a fight during a child’s birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday. …According to a police report, the pair were at Estime’s son’s birthday party and appeared to have been drinking. It’s a _children’s party and playground restaurant_ that serves beer to the adults. Add in the adult territorial rights over the games, and it’s a ripe environment for Friday Night Fights. ---

The last time I was in one they had a odd manned entry gate where everyone’s hand was stamped, definitely not the sort of place I’d pop into for a quick bite and I’d probably only tolerate if my kid wanted to go. Do they really get a lot of childless diners to eat their below Little Ceaser’s quality pizza? ---

ROFL And, while the pizza looks _disgusting_, and I absolutely avoid it, the salad bar (at least at my local Chuck E. Cheese) is really good. I think the key to avoiding depression is to EXPECT a miserable experience going in, maybe. that way you’re not disappointed. ---

I’ve been a few times recently to one near us and it was fine. It is incomprehensible to me that anyone would go that doesn’t have young children. I don’t think the food is that bad for a cheap kid’s pizza place. It’s not good, but it’s better than most low-end pizza. ---
