My last trip to Montreal was made more truly Canadian by the experience of a Tim’s maple glazed, consumed while walking thru the season’s first serious accumulation of snow. It was such a moment to savor, I actually got on the web and tried to compute how many points I’d need for an emigrant visa. Anyhow, that’s some donut ya got there, Canada. On this same trip I encountered what must be the _sexiest_ goddam name for a candy bar ever: [Sweet Marie](http://members.tripod.com/~MitchellBrown/trivia/10.html). I didn’t know whether to eat it or shove it down my pants. ---

Did you try the Tim Horton’s doughnut before or after they started ruining them, **Doug**? They _had_ an excellent doughnut; now they have a mediocre doughnut. ---
