# Criminal legal question

Some US states have a similar statue commonly called “criminal tools.”

There’s nothing illegal about a crowbar. Unless you’re a scruffy-looking mope walking down a dark commercial street late in the evening carrying said crowbar. Then it’s a criminal tool and you’re violating the law against having one.

No you wouldn’t. Solicitation also requires another party.
