# crisp or chewy bacon?

Who the hell has that kind of time? I’m not some Baron or Duke or layabout with all kinds of time on my hands! I’ve got shit to do, and waiting on breakfast isn’t one of them.

Extra-thick. About 11 slices to the pound, FTW! Crispy, but not burned. Fried on an iron skillet or griddle as Og intended. A press can be utilized for maximum flatness, but frankly, a little curl on the end stays a bit chewy which is tolerable.

I used to think microwave bacon was an abomination, but I recently discovered that I can have 2 to 4 crispy slices ready in seconds for my home-made clubs and subs.

That’s the most I’m willing to compromise.

Crispy, but there’s a very fine line between “crispy to perfection” and “burnt”, so in practice I usually aim for a little bit short of my ideal.
