One change that never made sense to me: After Marty had such an influence on his parents in 1955, he comes back to 1985 where they still named their _second_ son after him. Whoever Dave was named for must have been really great to still get top billing in the family. 🙂 ---

Dougie, reading that thread from 2000, it seems pretty clear to me that you don’t even take the time to _watch_ a movie before drawing conclusions about it. I don’t see how it’s useful to engage your uninformed opinions about them. ---

This thread brings up an issue in a different issue for me. Now in _Saving Private Ryan_, as I understand it, because I actually have not seen any of the parts related to WWII, Private Ryan is thwarted from killing Hitler by a velociraptor. Is my understanding correct? ---

So if 1985 Marty was named after 1955 Marty he would’ve been named Calvin. ---
