Most people I know stick with standard Windows Defender that comes with Windows. Unlike the old days, it’s actually very capable in Win10/11

Seconding Jophiel’s recommendation of just sticking with Windows Defender. That’s what most everyone does nowadays.
I was both surprised and relieved at that fact when I built mine two years ago. Makes life easier. (My old computer was still running AVGFree. It was terrible.)
