Are they all small out West also? No roadrunners of any size here in the Southeast! I’m still waiting for the armadillos we were promised - they’re supposed to be spreading this way. I’ve put our critter cam out again after a hiatus - it’s focused on the bird bath, so we’ll see who shows up. ---

I liked **Gus’** description of the size of the pileated woodpeckers upthread - ‘skinny chicken.’ 😃 Mr. and Mrs. Red Belly are back! Love that new pic of them. We have those here, and they are about the size of a large blue jay. I’ve had my critter cam focused on the bird bath here, but with all the rain we are getting, all I’ve gotten on camera are the squirrels and baby rabbits cruising back and forth underneath. ---
