I accidentally hit Zeus with a water hose, caught a ghost bird coming out of the fog & a doe licking her butt. And they are part of the 11 pictures I saved out of desperation.

Feathers, miniature Zeus on the edge of the bird feed basket, young does & maybe a new bird on the rearranged deck feeders whose camera needs more adjusting.

Today, after much wet and much fighting with the deck camera I gathered stuff and got this post out of all of it. It ain’t pretty but I think I got a young roadrunner in the feeder and on cam two there were several good shots of young does and not much else. Cam #1 was sort of a flop which is unusual.

Well. Just Well !!! I think I finally found a good setting for the deck camera. I plan to leave it like that for a while. (last 11 pictures from today) Why? … Pretty Pictures.

Cool pics. I bought a critter cam a few months ago, to put in the woods behind my house in a suburb of Dallas because there had been some people report seeing a mountain lion. I’m thinking they saw a large bobcat. The critter cam was stolen after about three months, but I compiled a video of some of the more interesting clips, including lots of raccoons, coyotes (one has a bob tail), a bobcat, possum, and even a beaver.
This batch has only 21 pictures because I jinxed myself getting all proud of the previous 2 batches. ::: Grump ::: All critters went into ‘blah’ mode. Even Zeus, Nonah & the 6 cats are acting weird today. Maybe smelling some kind of trouble, storms, etc… It is ‘hinky’ enough to get my attention. Time may tell.
21 so - so pictures brings the album up to a few hours ago.

It is hot for me so I am hiding. The critters are eating good but I think the heat has gotten to them. Got a couple I really like so…there are only 23 pictures. Enjoy.
It is hotter, The critters are hiding too. I think the cameras are tired too. Blurry pictures from slow shutter speeds or the critters are going to shade quicker…

No, they have been around for a month or so now but they were new to me then.
I am wondering about the slim brownish bird in # 290. It is in shade so I can’t really tell much but I don’t think I have seen it before. But I very well could be mistaken. Hoping to get a better picture or something soon. No luck so far. 
Today we have a headless deer, a spooky blue jay that has his shadow appear before he does, two blue jays who are not talking, they must be mad at each other, God is smiling at a Cardinal so he will probably be the next Pope but it appears that he might crash & burn before that happens as he just went into a death dive.

I love me some fox, for pretty, #337, and for ‘tude’ the the look on the Cardinal in the pouring rain in #343.
