At least five large crocodile mummies plus a few heads were discovered in a tomb in Egypt. Did the researchers quickly seal the tomb and run the other way? No, they removed the mummies for study. It’s like these people have never watched a movie before. “Know this: this creature is the bringer of death. I can see it now. The crocodile mummies are purchased to be the centerpiece of a gala exhibition at the New York Museum of Natural HIstory. No expense is spared for the grand opening. Even before the appointed day, however, technicians and guards begin to die mysterious, ghastly deaths, and rumors of an ancient Egyptian curse, long circulating through the dark corridors and basement rooms of the Museum are once again being revived. Can an iconoclastic F.B.I. agent save the day before mass destruction ensues? We’ve been [down this road](https://www.amazon.com/Book-Dead-Pendergast/dp/0446618500) before… ---
