Just looked at some websites that deal with an interesting concept: Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Horror/Action-Adventure/Comic Book crossover battles. Take the hero or group of heroes from one universe and pit them against the heroes from another. Like Superman vs The Hulk, Neo vs. Luke Skywalker, The Millenium Falcon vs. The Defiant, Freddy vs. Jason, etc. Check out THE CROSSOVER UNIVERSE, COMIC BOOK ULTIMATE BATTLES, WORLD WIDE WEB FEDERATION for more ideas. Interestingly, DC and Marvel have announced plans for a JLA vs. Avengers series sometime in the next year. Personally, I’m betting on the JLA. ---

He has carefully documented hundreds of crossovers between TV shows – not “what-ifs”, but actual crossovers – and has actually been able to piece together huge blocks of metacontinuity. Would you believe that _Newhart, St. Elsewhere, M_A_S_H\* and _The X-Files_ – along with another 20 or so shows – all exist in the same shared universe? Watch Thom Holbrook trace the connections between shows for you, and be amazed. – Bob ---
