Just an aside: I’ve read through this thread only a little bit before jumping in. I’m noticing that clues with blanks are apparently absent (I could have overlooked them). Is that by a rule of this thread game, or just kind of an ethic that such clues are “too easy”? ---

The person who chose the word will be the sole judge of the entries. Maybe they like fill-in-the-blanks. Maybe they like puns and word play. Maybe they like really difficult and subtle clues. Maybe they like softball pop culture clues. The uncertainty is what makes this game fun. ---
