Well, if we’re posting entire songs… I got Joe Cocker [With a Little Help From My Friends](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO7l_v3k11Q&feature=related) at Woodstock as well as him doing [The Letter](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RnjWLVyMps&feature=related) somewhere else with what appears to be Leon Russel on piano (but I could be wrong). Also, I was trying to find the clip of Joe and John Belushi on SNL. I found one of them doing Feeling Alright, but I’m almost positive there’s an earlier one where Joe didn’t know John was planning to come out. The one I’m finding was clearly set up and rehearsed this way. ---

When I went to listen to get the times, I was going to include 0:30-0:38 at first, but then remembered that was just the end of the second assault. The first 17 seconds or so crush you like a bazooka, then Eddie pulls out the automatic weapons and rips you to pieces, and finally finishes you off with that brain-melting nuclear explosion at the end. ---

The remarkable thing about that song is that Zack de la Rocha manages to go 80% into the song before drops that first f-bomb (which is where I started editing). ---

Best intro I’ve heard yet is on “Something For Nothing and the Chicks are Free.” Best moment…Jimi Hendrix playing the Star Spangled Banner. Never could figure out why they didn’t make a poster of him when he raised the guitar up & the light behind him burst like a star. ---

The Doors: the climax of “The End” is one of the most spine-tingling things I’ve ever heard. A couple of obscure ones: Living Colour: “[This Is The Life](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6okNaPSRdlI)” is absolutely amazing. Vernon Reid should be much more famous than he is. R.E.M.: You’ve all heard their famous stuff, but their most unheralded song was “[You](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBb3Mh2mVs0)” off of _Monster_. Absolutely nasty stuff, very much unlike their popular music. Pantera: “[Five Minutes Alone](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3Txvt6tTKo)”. Yeah. That’s the standard for metal. ---
