Only when you’re going down a hill the cruise control ‘takes its foot off the gas’ anyway. In my Cherokee, going downhill with the cruise control on, the econometer reads 99.9 mpg.
Dammit! :smack: Thank you for the correction. I accidentally used 31 mpg instead of 21 and did not check to see if the answer made sense. (Which it did not. Bad, bad engineer!) I evidently need a 24 hour limit on the edit function.
I think I also need to head off to one of the recent “What makes you feel old” threads. For me, the brain doesn’t work like it used to. (Is 48 too young to claim “senior moments”?)
