I don’t know why I even bother to look at the popularity polls, really I don’t. And then other people just _stroll_ on in here and five minutes later everyone’s in love. Maybe it’s my dopey kitty-related user name. People think you’re a geek if you use a cat name. Perhaps if I had a cool name like Chrome Toaster does – yeah, _then_ people would love me. Sigh. I’m still hoping to get a mention, when “that thread over there” gets to Guy Thread length and all other options are exhausted. What really stings is when the truly nice gal posters here, who are really sensitive about hurting anyone’s feelings, rattle off a laundry list of crushes in the hopes of not missing anybody … and you still pitch a shutout.
