Like **Hal Briston** , that blue filter thing bothered me. I get it, NY is supposed to be gritty. So what. And is it just me, but why do so many characters set in New York sound Chicagoan? I also like the idea of CSI: Twin Cities. Not so political as CSI: DC would be, not so lush as CSI: Hawaii (that’s was Miami is for). But we do have our share of interesting cases, interesting people. With all the lakes we could provide numerous floaters, which CSI: Miami draws on, and enough casinos to give CSI: Las Vegas a run. ---

If it had to stay in the US, I think it should have been \CSI: Detroit\. After all, they wouldn’t be short of murder cases there… 😉 ---

How about _CSI: Houston_? It doesn’t seem like anything is ever set in Houston, even though it’s the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the US. ---

That was my first thought too, **Loopus**. It would be interesting to see if the show would incorporate any of the problems the HPD crime lab has had recently. ---

Sweaty obese cops try to beat killer traffic every week to get to dead energy executives before they decay in the 100 degree humid heat. That actually sounds awesome! Dallas would also be another great choice. They love killing people in Dallas. ---

we always get ingored on TV over here. Not only is Tijuana, Mexico right nextdoor, we also have: Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, The Marine Corps Recruit Depot, two (i think) Navy bases, lots of immigration, lots of drug traffic, and we are a huge tourist destination. But i guess we don’t have enough Italians for a murder investigation show. ---

Since I live here, I’d love to see _CSI: Baltimore_, but I guess we already did that in a way with _Homicide: Life on the Street_, didn’t we? Note to self: Must pick that up on DVD next payday! ---
