Hubby and I went to see Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young (and Young!!!) last night in Hershey PA. After 40 years in music, they still play a 3 hour show. And it was _good_. And it was political. And it was not GWB-friendly. Unlike the first time I saw them (in 1989), I smelled absolutely no weed. And then there was the creepy scene of cellphone glow all over the stadium. No Bic lighters, just cellphones. ---

Cool. I always thought they lost something when Neil left. Both CSN and Young did good without each other, don’t get me wrong. But the songs as CSN&Y were all just a little bit more … something … ---

I saw them a few years ago. Second row. Definitely one of the best shows I have ever seen. It was an indoor show and the only weed I smelled was coming from the band. ---

I saw them a number of years ago as the first half of a double-bill with Chicago. I was rather disappointed in them. They were rather lifeless; I never felt any energy coming from the stage. And the didn’t play _Suite: Judy Blue Eyes_, which I was really looking forward to hearing live. Chicago, on the other hand, kicked ass. ---

Did anyone else think that when the ‘CSN’ box set came out it should have been titled ‘CSN and sometimes Y’ ?
