[Thanks to all of your encouragement,](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=697133&highlight=Cthulhu) I went ahead with the project and finished it. You will all be thanked collectively in the credits as “the good people of the SDMB.” I’m not sure that I would have forged ahead in the face of adversity if it hadn’t been for you guys. I’m waiting for the discs to be manufactured, but in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek: [“We Three Things Abhorrent Are.”](http://youtu.be/R6ZeSxAC9Js) ---

I love good parodies like that, but they make me jealous, because I don’t have the wit to compose them myself! ---

> [@BrainGlutton](#): > > The filk-favorite [“Give Me That Real Old-Time Religion.”](http://www.sacred-texts.com/bos/bos527.htm) Aah. I mention filking in the liner notes. Basically explaining why, when trying to rhyme with “eight maids a-milking,” I didn’t use “filking.” 🙂 ---
