Suspending him indefinitely right after the release of documents wasn’t a good sign. But what was the new revelation that brought him down? We already knew he was actively coaching his brother. ---

There’s no way he wasn’t getting fired over this. But you don’t ascend to this media tier without a really, really good contract. Seems likely to me the suspension was just to buy time to go through whatever steps were mandated (investigation, confirmation, review, escalation, blah blah blah). Doesn’t matter the transgression, skip those steps and you get a lawsuit. That it happened this fast can be read as their concluding “this is airtight.” ---
