I love the show. Jeff and his wife are the best.
I loved it when Jeff was about to give Richard Lewis his kidney but Susie forbid him from doing it. Saying something like “Are your fucking kidding. You wanna give your fucking kidney to Richard Lewis? What if your kids need a kidney?”
One of my favorite episodes was The Ski Lift- when LD went on a ski trip with a strict jewish (orthodox?) couple and pretended to also be strict Jewish and got Susie to pretend to be his wife. The side-story was the “huge vagina” thing with Jeff’s ex. One of the best, in my opinion.
The last scene in The Bat Mitzvah where Loretta finally shuts Susie up- I think I rewound that part about ten thousand times, and laughed hard each and every time!
To me, the single funniest episode was when he gets his father the “happy ending” massage, and his father falls in love with the masseuse because he doesn’t realize that she treats all of her clients like that. That episode is also when he takes Jeff’s exterminator to a play. To those who’ve seen it, you know how that one ends.
