Fair question and I have time to re-review it.

[This post](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/harris-vp-choice-as-she-is-the-nominee/1004552/257) really did thread to hijack the thread. I believe your post and Moriarty’s answered it well enough for that thread.

Once again, I didn’t go into details in the modnote as I am probably too brusk at times, but the prior 2 days were very fast moving and brusk was all I had time for.

Of course none of these note were close to warnings, just an attempt to keep fast moving threads on focus.
