Kellen, Austin, Patrice, Adrian(ne), Drew, Julian(ne), Harris, Delaney, Carter. Lots of names with “N” sounds on the end used to be boy-only but are now slanting towards being female names. Same thing with first names that can also be last names (Harris, Taylor, Bailey).
Also, all those “New Age” names: Destiny, Rainbow, Unique, Harmony… I’ve seen both girls and boys named crap like this. It seems more slanted towards girls though.
A second, or a third, or a fourth on Erin as also a male name. The one I know is 9.
Jordan
Beverly/Beverley
Ray/Rae/Rhea
Lesley/Leslie
Tiffany (yes; in the '20s this was a male first name, and of course it’s also a last name)
Shirley and Hazel used to be men’s names.
Marley - especially spelled as Marly or Marlee - is usually for females, but there are obvious exceptions.
Shannon.
In the medieval period, I’ve found examples of a male Isold, women named James and Jacobe, and men named Nichol. Of course Meredith (Maredudd) used to be exclusively a masculine name.
And, just to complicate matters, there’s also at least one female Aaron.
Also, the song A Boy Named Sue was inspired by this guy.
My wife’s name is Eddie. And I assure you, she is a woman. My garden gate don’t swing like that. And my state voted that s&*t down.
I knew a British guy named Kim.
Ditto, but American.
Jody - my sister’s name, and I dated a guy by the same name (and spelling) a few years ago
I also know a female Sean
Morgan
Brady
Alex
Aidan
Gale – Gale Storm, female; Gale Gordon, male
I’ve seen Shawn as both male and female.
Of course, technically, any name is unisex since you can name your kid any damn thing you want.
But I really wish I hadn’t named my boy Taylor because about the time he was born it suddenly became a girl’s name.
There’s at least one woman named Clyde, after the Clyde river in Ireland.
Michelle
Renee
No ones mentioned the good old name of
Tracy
Britt.
