# Curl your lashes or blind yourself with a red-hot poker?

Well, now you don’t have to choose between the two because Igia makes it easy to do both at the same time.  
I saw this [eyelash curler/medieval instrument of torture](http://secure.igia.com/prodetail.cfm?ID=AT7537) on Comedy Central today and for a moment I thought it was a joke. The video demonstration on the site is positively frightning–yes, every time I want to curl my eyelashes my first instinct is to reach for a RED-HOT HEATED EYE POKER to do it with. :eek:

Heck, you could save the money and just rub a cigarette lighter across your lashes a couple of times for the same effect.

Do people actually buy this sort of thing thinking it will actually work??

I have never used an eyelash curler because just the regular ones look like medieval torture devices to me… this is just… SCARY!
