> [@](#): > > \*Originally posted by KarlGauss \* > \*\*If you’re talking about **Clocks** , I agree completely. If you’re not, check it out. You won’t be disappointed. \*\* Yup. That’s been my song of the week for oh, about a month now. in fact, I am listening to it right this minute. I don’t think it’s possible for Coldplay to record a non-addictive song. Ditto on John Mayer. I had to force myself to remove “Room for Squares” from my CD player recently because it was driving my husband nuts. Now Coldplay is driving him nuts. 😃 ---

[“All the Relatives,”](http://www.christinekane.com/lyricsrainmud.htm#relatives) by Christine Kane, a folksinger from Asheville, NC. I heard her play this song at a music festival workshop and I had to run right over and buy the CD. I’ve played it for several of my female friends, and they all agree it’s a great anthem for us girls who mystify the relatives by not signing up for the status quo. ---

Let’s see, what’s playing on Winamp Radio right now? Yup - my current fave. 🙂 My favorite songs tend to change rapidly from day to day. Very occasionally, one will stick in my head for a while. There isn’t one stuck there right now, however. I guess the most recent fave would have been _Tonight is the Night I Fell Asleep at the Wheel_ by BNL. That damned song got stuck in my head and I sang it for a good, solid month. ---

“Estimated Prophet”- The Grateful Dead This song is always floating around somewhere in my head, so it shouldn’t really count, but the version from 5/8/77 is amazing. The song that I don’t hear very often that has been in my head all week is “Video killed the radio star” by uh…The Buggles? I guess. The worst part is, I’ve had the cover version stuck in my head, for some reason I think it might have the Pogues, but I have no clue…Ah well, it rocks anyway… ---
