Anyone having internet problems today, 20 Jan.2023 around noonish US Eastern Standard Time?
Flopping on and off here in Augusta GA. Called our daughter up in N. Carolina, same deal with her.
Earthsky is saying, “An increase in geomagnetic activity is anticipated later on today. There are chances it could reach a G1 (minor) to G2 (moderate) geomagnetic storm level.”

I don’t follow solar weather like I used to but I can recommend **VE3EN’s** solarham website below. It’s geared toward amateur radio operators but otherwise a nice resource for sun stuff.

You live waay out in the country? Maybe related. Although if it rained heavily in the last 2 or 3 days it could be from water intrusion too.

If you’re in relatively new construction I’d bet not due to solar magnetic storms. Especially since they’re minor now, which they are a sizeable fraction of every week. This event just seems to have caught on with social media and the lay press.
