How dare you be on my TV during the Simpsons’ spot! How DARE you! No, even worse, how dare you just be STARTING!! I REQUIRE SIMPSONS, DAMMIT!! Oh, look at me, I’m baseball and I’m sooooooooooooo cool! I’m the National Pastime, and **I’M** more important than one of the **greatest shows ever made!** I will have my revenge. This I swear. ---

I think it’s been quite some time since baseball was the national pastime. I’d say it’s at No. 3 behind football and basketball, and better watch out before hockey creeps up and passes it. ---

Good call, Rilchiam, I feel the same way about “The X-Files.” Sorry to say it, but both should be euthanized while they still have some dignity. ---

get sports off of regular TV channels. keep them on the cable sports channels or arange them so they don’t interupt more important programming, like the Simpsons. ---

It would have been a rerun of the Simpsons. New episodes don’t air until November. Of course this might have something to do with the fact that the World Series is on Fox, in which case you should be even more pissed. I’m not though. I like baseball.
