Scored just two today. Only one of which I remember and will therefore share. Senility is teh suxxor. I think. Maybe. **ILUVFAU** on a standard FL plate background. Florida Atlantic University being the local branch of FL’s decidedly weird ad hoc state university system. Summarizing mightily, post 1900 & especially post WW-II, the state bought up a bunch of small local private colleges to create their state university system. Which is still more of a loose alliance of competing sorta-equals than a single uniform cooperative system. Many / most states have 2 (or occasionally more) major universities which share a strong cross-state rivalry. FL is no exception, with the University of Miami in the far south, the University of Florida in Gainesville in the middle-north, and Florida State in the capital, Tallahassee, in the far northwest being the Big 3 of a Big 4 or 5 lording it over the less significant ~10 other public and private universities. In addition to the pro-FAU plate these folks sported a fairly common license plate frame seen here: Across the top it says “House Divided” and across the bottom is “Miami Gators | Florida Seminoles” in their respective logo colors. So maybe Mom and Dad sent the kid to FAU to split the difference? Or maybe one of them works at FAU? Either way, I predict in-home fireworks whenever collegiate football or basketball is on TV. 😁 ---

In TX today saw a pickup with AZ plate, BADS33D. Interestingly it was one of those specialty plates, Support Arizona Education. ---

Now that’s apt^^. Truth in advertising. Around here: Not much traffic out today. So I just found one: **BARB1** on a 5-character ocean eco-booster plate on a Mercedes 2-seat convertible. The 50-something big-haired babe driving was pretty hot. And pretty enhanced. Truth in advertising really is a wonderful thing. I suppose BARBI was already taken. ---

Decided to do my grocery shopping today since it’s supposed to snow tomorrow and was rewarded with **MYSTEVI** on Delaware plates (?!) and **GMOM** on a bright green sporty something or other in the parking lot. ---

NY plate on a nondescript car, nondescript driver: **MY GOD** all kinds of possibilities there. The driver was getting off NY 28 at the exit to Woodstock, if that helps. I stayed on 28 myself, though it was tempting to Follow That Car. ---

Be careful if you do it in Louisiana though, as you might get **CAJUND**! Had to go to the mall this morning. That would be a rant for the Pit thread but my teenage niece had a specific request for Christmas so like the good aunt that I am I dragged myself out there. I was rewarded with two custom plates. **SEFER** in the parking lot and **NEATO** on my way home. ---
