Agree. I messed with various Roman numeral interpretations. Even being real loose in the syntax it doesn’t really work. It’s art, not numbers. ---

Saw an early 2000s Jaguar sedan with **VB⎵⎵ART** on a standard plate. I hoped some Googling would reveal a local artist or gallery with initials VB. Nope. So no clue what it means. ---

Saw **NUURSE** on the “Be a Nurse” specialty plate this morning followed shortly afterwards by **OH RATS**. Not sure of the context of that one. ---

Seen in the parking lot of the local supermarket: **COACHCO**. It was a small car, so no chance of it being an intercity bus (a “coach”) company. Someone who helms a kids’ sports team? Possibly, but where does the CO come in? There is often a black Corvette in the parking lot of the local racetrack. Its plate is **RAVYN**. That, I understand perfectly. ---

At the grocery store tonight saw a shiny new Bentley with **DR⎵ROOF** on a standard plate. Some Googling suggests he owns a local veterinary clinic. Taking care of fatcat’s Shih Tzus and annoying Pekinese seems to be a pretty good gig for him. ---

On the way home tonight: **MAP CORP** on a white Hundai Palisade. Googling gives a top hit of the Maritime Applied Physics Corporation, but trying to follow the link gets me a warning from my browser about an unsafe site and I didn’t click through. Removing the “www” from that link redirects to BlackSea Technologies, which I think is the same company renamed, and which looks like it designs and builds military hardware. Then there’s The National Map Corps with an “s”, which is much more benign. ---

The mazda miata did not exactly **ZMM-ZMMM** as I passed them and I was not impressed by the **9MM␣MMA** jeep Cherokee. I guess they wanted to be intimidating on their **LCN␣PL8T**. I do not know if **YU** **DUGOOD** **L8TCZECH** but you seemed to be at the gas station. And I don’t remember **H-HOBBIT** being in The Hobbit or the Lord of the Rings, maybe they are in the Simarilion? I should stop we these tortured sentences they are a bit **MUUUUCH**. The person driving the L8TCZECH did appear to be european, so maybe they were from the Czech Republic, but there were no decals or anything else. They could have been making a play on late checks for all I know. `//i\\` ---
