Saw a small Range Rover SUV today with **MMSY16** all run together like that. I’m suspecting some well-off young woman (nick-)named Missy got a very nice 16th birthday present to go w her shiny new driver’s license. The car was parked so I didn’t get a chance to see the driver. ---

While on my way to a doctor appointment this morning I saw a Hummer with an MD plate: **CARING**. He seemed to be caring about getting to where he was going quickly rather than safely, weaving through traffic with no blinkers. ---

There’s a recurring character in a series of novels (Andy Kelp, a career petty thief, in Donald E. Westlake’s **Dortmunder** series) who steals cars from long-term parking lots at JFK airport. He prefers cars with MD plates, supposedly because they are immune to getting parking tickets in NYC. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but that’s the first time I ever heard of MD plates. In fact, it’s the only place I’d ever seen reference to them. ---

The problem I always have, and the reason I don’t post in this thread that often, is that I will see a custom plate, but I can’t write it down or photograph it because I’m driving, and then by the time I am able to post here I’ve forgotten exactly what the plate said. Like this morning on my way to work I saw **somethingRUTH**. I remember the “RUTH” part because it’s a name and easy to remember. But there were three letters before that, and I’ll be damned if I can remember them now. ---

Good haul today. **RAZZZEL** **BIG JUCY** **LVDASEA** This one I’m not sure about. **PSA 1YR** This might be a false positive. It fits one of the many standard plate sequences in Arizona. ---
