**EEEYESS** and **E KLAS** I spotted a license plate **EEEYESS** on the front of an older Mercedes-Benz. That date could be the birthday of a 18yo driver. Yikes! If the car is 1-2 years old it might’ve been a birthday present when they got their license. ---

In today’s US Navy Haze Gray is the term I’ve heard used used; I’ve never heard of Ghost Gray but I don’t claim to know everything. During WWII there were a lot of different camouflage patterns involving different shades of gray and blue. Perhaps it was one of those colors. My mother was in San Diego in 1942 when reinforcements from the Atlantic fleet arrived to pad out the somewhat depleted Pacific fleet. She commented they looked different and I’m guessing they were painted in colors and patterns more suited for the Atlantic. Chevy Tahoe with a first responder plate: **HTAOCTA** Not a clue. ---
