Same here. I made sure to read it carefully. But that’s how it’s spelled. I think it’s a play on, or a name of, someone from India.

I had a good haul yesterday / today in count, if not in amazingness.

- **4LY5A** on a FL 5-character booster plate on a car. In an amazing coincidence, in my prior post I mentioned a woman named Lysa. Which name I have never encountered on any other woman. So today I find this plate that I decode to “For Lysa”. This was parked in a lot so I’m sure I have the details correct. And that pattern of numbers and letters isn’t used on standard issue plates.

- **83⎵⎵JEEP** on a FL standard plate on a, yep, 1983 model Jeep CJ. A well-used one to boot. I don’t know my jeeps well enough to vouch for the exact model year, but just from the gross features it’s an early 1980s era jeep for sure. - **⎵⎵⎵UW⎵⎵⎵** on a FL standard plate on a Tesla Model S. University of Washington or Wisconsin? Somebody named Ulysses Wainwright?

- **1BEANS1** on a FL standard plate on a bright red well-worn VW Jetta. Maybe the 1’s should be pronounced like Elmer Fudd saying “run”: “Wun beans, wun!”. If you or your car are nicknamed “Beans” it sorta makes sense. Otherwise I have no clue.

- **2JOYU** on a FL 5-character butterfly booster plate on a Porsche Macan SUV. Joy to you too, Lady!

- **PHISH83** on a FL 7-character aquaculture booster plate on a fairly new Ford Bronco. That plate background looks like

- **RAC** on a New Hampshire plate on a ~5 year old Corvette. I bet it’s “race”, but might just be the dude’s initials.

- **REV2** on a FL 5-character Miami Heat NBA booster plate on a fairly new Jeep pickup. It didn’t look or sound hopped up at all, so I doubt the “rev” is for revolutions as in zoom zoom.

Saw **KOWBOY** this morning on my way to the office. The boss was buying lunch so I dragged myself in through the detours.  
Then on the way to lunch saw **1 WON 1** on a black Escalade flying through a red light.

I’ve been away for the past week, but I’ve been keeping track of some (but not all) of the custom plates I spotted during my vacation.

**I R​❤︎BOT** on a Tesla  
**KAZKIDS** on a Acura MDX. Not sure what “KAZ” means.  
**WAHAPPN** on a Honda Pilot. “What happened?” Or maybe “What’s happenin’?'”  
**ASH TMJ** on a BMW X5. Not sure what that means, either. There was a New York Yankees frame and a Cal alumni sticker if that helps in any way.  
**D BUGIN** on a Kia Sorrento. Must be a software engineer.  
**RHAPYPL** on a Lexus IS250. Nevada plate with a Washington State alumni frame if that means anything. My best guess is “Rha people”, as in possible cheerleaders.  
**OMEGACR** on a Porsche Macan. No clue on that one. No stickers or anything else to provide any context.  
And lastly, **SONX FAN** on a 4Runner. Sonics Fan, I presume. Although there were many stickers in the rear window, none of them were related to the Sonics. One of them was “Jesus saves, bro”.

Omega car? As in the ultimate car in their opinion.

Or they’re older and believe that’s the last car they’ll ever buy.

We’ve had a thread on “last car of your life”. A depressing number of us already had that car or expected their next would be.

I spotted two this morning while out and about:

**BLU TREX** on a dark blue Honda Odyssey. There was also a Miami Dolphins frame in case it has something to do with that. But I’m guessing it’s referencing the road trips they take in their blue van.

**BHAPPEY** on a Subaru Forrester. I guess BEHAPPY was taken.

Did some driving the last couple days and scored a pile.

- **CON⎵ED** on a FL standard plate on a small SUV. The location suggests the car belongs to an NYC-area transplant who probably retired from Consolidated Edison, the NYC-area electric utility.

- **HEDADL** on a FL standard plate on a Mercedes sedan being driven sedately by an elderly man with an elderly woman alongside. “He is Dad who’s name starts with L”? “He dawdles while driving?”. I think the latter.

- **CSIDER** on a FL standard plate on a SUV near the beach.

- **WHYSKN⎵U** on a FL standard plate on a pickup truck. “Why skin you”? “Wisconsin University” (more properly University of Wisconsin)?

- **9-5⎵LMAO** on a FL standard plate on a BMW x5 midsize SUV. Apparently they think regular jobs are for losers. I’m impressed they got LMAO through the censors. SMUGJERK might have been a better plate for them.

- **SRFSD** on a FL 7-character arts booster plate on a car. That plate is a fairly abstract background in pink, teal, and blue which has a very “Casual Florida” vibe to it. “Surfside” is almost surely the decode, that being a micro-sized beachfront 'burb near Miami Beach and \<5 miles from where I saw the car.

- **AHHA** on a FL 5-character Miami Heat NBA booster plate on an older Lexus sedan. “Ah ha!” indeed. But to what purpose?

- **EBASH** on a FL standard plate on a newish Dodge Challenger being driven aggressively. Perhaps they mean they bash on (read “defeat in drag races”) EVs? Otherwise I have no clue.

- **RUEJ⎵5** on a FL standard plate on a generic car. “Are you EJ?” Who or what is EJ? I’m wondering why EJ is so popular that versions with no number and with 1 through 4 are already taken? Or is this really “Are you EJ the fifth”?

- **BENEBAG** on a FL standard plate on a Hyundai SUV in a green color that reminded me of green split peas. The car was sort of a plump beanbag shape. Or are the people named “Bene…” something and the car is the bag the contains them? No way to know.

- **MAIN7** on a FL 5-character Miami Heat NBA booster plate on a pickup. No idea.

- **APIASTI** on a FL standard plate on a SUV. “Apiarist I” meaning “I’m an apiarist?” = beekeeper? That’s my idea. No other markings to connect them to bees though. Is someone who makes pasta called a “piasti” in Italian?

- **MO⎵DEAL5** on a FL standard plate on a ragged SUV. I got close enough long enough to be sure it’s an M at the start and a five on the end. Mo deals mo bettah fo sho. Five’d be bestest of all. I bet somebody nick-named Mo makes deals. As in sells cars or real estate.

- **J-VEC** on a FL standard plate on a Model Y. Presumably a name: “John Veccio” or the like.

- **ASEL** on a FL standard plate on a Honda Pilot family wagon. “ASEL” is a well-known abbreviation amongst pilots for the sort of pilot rating you need to fly typical light airplanes: “Airplane, single engine, land.” I’m hoping that’s the connection, given the type of car it was, the fact an airport is right nearby where I saw it, and that area has the SES who could afford to be hobbyist pilots. Otherwise I have no clue.

- **EIDIEMAE** on a FL standard plate on a Nissan subcompact. I bet she’s sweet as the day is long, if a bit rustic and plump. And probably my age or older.

Probably **[macOS - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS)**, the operating system used on Macintosh computers. Especially in your part of CA, the person might even work for Apple on that product.
