**BAY BRZY** on a BMW crossover. Bay breezy. A bay breeze is a cocktail, apparently. I know this because for some reason my brother-in-law always orders them for my mom when the whole family gets together. But back to the topic, I guess maybe that’s the driver’s favorite cocktail. **1ICYWRX** on a Subaru WRX with a lot of customizations. One icy WXX. Is “icy” slang in tuner culture, maybe? **SLRTACO** on a Toyota Tacoma. I’m assuming in this case “taco” is short for “Tacoma”, not the food. But what is SLR? All I can think of is a camera, but I don’t know what that has to do with the truck. ---

A few in recent days: - **I⎵ENTRTN** on a FL standard plate on a generic white SUV. I wonder what sort of entertaining or “entertaining” they do? - **PRO⎵1** on a FL 7-character golf booster plate on a Mercedes E-class. Presumably a pro working at some course around here. - **RENYAH** on a FL standard plate on a cheapie Toyota. Woman’s name perhaps? - **SAM⎵ALI** on a FL standard plate on an Audi sedan. Her & his names? Short versions of somebodies first and last. - **TRULFE** on a FL standard plate on a black Suburban. Probably means “True Life”. There are a bunch of businesses named TruLife of varying legitimacy vs woo-peddling. I’m traveling for a bit starting tomorrow, so no new sightings for awhile. ---

On a NY plate: **KNIKS N5**. You have to be from around here or follow NBA basketball: The Knicks went into the NBA finals this year unbeaten in the postseason, so people in NYC were telling each other “Knicks in 4,” meaning they thought the team would sweep the best-of-seven finals as well. When they lost the third game, fans went with the flow and started saying “Knicks in 5” instead, which was the actual outcome. I like the touch of losing the “C” in order to get the space, with the plate limited to 8 characters. ---
