Yesterday I saw a Toyota Supra (2-seat zoomer from ~10 years ago). Big tires, fart can exhaust, aftermarket whale tail, and several go-fast decals. The plate? **YEEEEE** A couple blocks later I found a dark gray Tesla Model 3. Around here Teslas are more common than Nissans but less common than Toyotas. So overall this car was the epitome of generic boring mobility appliance. The plate? **BYOFFCR**. Apparently the heart of a lion lurks within the unassuming persona of the driver. ---

'Zactly. Or at least that’s my interpretation too. As in “Just try to catch me; I dare you! My car mongo fast. Or at least mongo quick off the light.” Not really the sentiment I’d want to be advertising to some random Officer Friendly as they’re warily approaching my car. ---

Which name in many 'Murrican dialects is pronounced as if spelled “jeezuz” where the first “z” is a full-blooded “z” and the terminal “z” is sorta halfway between an “s” and a full “z”. ---

I saw one a few minutes ago. A sun-fried 20+yo Toyota junker. Remarkably filthy considering how often it rains around here. It had Florida’s anti-abortion specialty license plate background **\***. Like the car, the license plate frame was heavily faded and hard to read, but was something close to “I love Jesus Christ”. The actual plate text? **BBORN**. You have to give them points for consistency. * * * **\*** Yes, we have a plate like that. We don’t however have a pro-abortion plate. Hmm. ---

We have a woman that shops at our store that hands out religious tracts to cashiers and customers. She’ll talk to anyone that will listen about, ‘our lord and savior jesus christ’. Often to the point that I’ll have to ‘butt in’ to give customers a chance to walk away from her, since it’s really all you can do. Something that I always find funny is that most of my employees can’t bring themselves to throw away the pamphlets she hands them, so after she’s here, I’ll grab whatever she handed the cashiers (and customers sometimes) and toss it myself or it piles up in a drawer in the checkout area. Her license place is BORN 2X.
