The high school in town here that my mother attended had the Trojan as their mascot. My school, which was newer, were the Chargers. We’d always rag each other about which team won. Sadly she got to rag on me more. ---

Today I saw **CRAW⎵4RD**. Looking at the driver, “Crawford” could plausibly have been either his first or last name. It was a Chevy. So close! 😉 Forgot to mention this during my silly saga of my own personal plate. … When I first registered the car I ordered the personal plate. But it wasn’t going to be available for a few weeks and FL policy for that case is not to issue a temporary “dealer” plate, but rather a permanent ordinary plate that you later swap for the personalized one whenever it eventually arrives. At that time the standard plates DMV was handing out were in **ABC⎵⎵D12** format. By luck of the draw I got **RVE⎵⎵M06**. Which was _almost_ “rev 'em” as in zoom zoom roar roar. Appropriate for a sports car. Had I been thinking faster _and_ able to dig two plates deeper into that clerk’s stash for **RVE⎵⎵M08** I might have kept that plate & skipped the personal one. The car being an M8 model with a V8 engine. I’d rather be lucky than skillful any day. So close! 🙂 ---

“I owe shit” viewed in the rear view mirror? States with front plates (not FL) have double the … interesting … possibilities. But I agree w @Bullitt: “shit show” w a side order of censor-fooling sauce. Evidently CA’s censor app is teh suxxor. ---

The funny part is, I went to grade school and high school with her kids and had known that plate for a long time. It’s GO BAY in your rear view mirror. “Bay” references the local high school sports teams. ---
