Last night I saw a Ferrari Roma with a Quebec license plate. This time of year we get a lot of Quebeckers down here and the crowd definitely leans wealthy. Sure, we see Toyotas with Quebec plates too. But proportionally more fatcat cars than the ordinary ones. Anyhow the plate read **BIGMAC9**. I did not see the size of the driver. So I suspect this guy has done real well with hamburger franchises. Maybe even 9 of them. ---

Seems a little specific. If it was me in that situation I’d go with **MKYDn** to denote the number of franchises. ---

Been a busy couple of days in licenseplate land Saw a bright red sporty hatchback coupe; a Kia, Toyota, or similar. Lots of upbeat perky stickers, plus elaborate Christmas decorations. The plate read **WLD⎵⎵LLL**. I suspect LLL represents her (almost certainly her) name/nickname. I’m not sure what her name is, but she probably really is a wild person in a good way. Saw an Ontario Canada plate with **FARCO⎵7**. A company name or last name perhaps? Saw a customized Jeep Renegade with **WTA⎵JEEP**. Which was a bit baffling until I saw the stickers saying “What a Jeep”. And others with the name of the customization company. ---

Good gawd **Joey**! That’s a horrifying array of food and men. What comedy is that a snip from? But boy does it fit with that license plate. A few minutes ago I came up on a generic Honda family van. Plate was **ILUSN**. Hmmm. Former Navy? Then I noticed a school sticker for Hogwarts Boarding School on the back window. Then I got alongside and there was a magnetic sign attached advertising a magician for hire for parties, etc. Very clever. ---

Came across **BONSAI**. I also saw **ST⎵⎵MAX**. There is a St. Maximillian Catholic parish about 20 miles from here, so might be connected to that. ---

I was driving along and saw a car some way ahead with one of those electronic scrolling message signs in the back window: green dots forming words, moving along to repeat the message. I caught them up and read the message: “SPACE IS FLAT – EARTH IS STATIONARY” Checked the licence plate: RTHSFLT I’ll let you fill in the vowels. ---

Yep. I regularly used it in St. Louis. As did many other people who’d never lived in Chicago. I still trot it out from time to time, but lately I haven’t had much interaction with other sports fans about sports. So the joke would be lost on my counterparty. I sorta remember those skits from when I was watching SNL regularly. Golly that was a long time ago now. ---
